Hahnemann Homoeo Hall

Hahnemann Homoeo Hall is situated on the ground floor of Shitala Abashan in the Ghosh Para area of Kestopur. Being near the Ghosh Para Market means there's always something happening outside our door. It’s a very busy part of Kolkata 700102. We specialize in homeopathy, so you’ll see rows and rows of small glass bottles filled with white pills and liquids. The smell of the clinic is quite distinct, a mix of sugar and spirit. It’s a small shop, really. People come in with their prescriptions, and we spend time measuring out the doses. The waiting area is just a couple of benches along the wall. It gets quite crowded in the evenings after people finish work. We have a ceiling fan that squeaks a bit when it's on high speed, but it does the job. Many of our customers have been coming to us for years, and they often stop by just to say hello even if they don't need medicine that day. We don't use a computer for our sales; everything is written down in a big register. It’s a bit of a slow process, but we like to be thorough. The street outside can be a bit muddy when it rains, so we ask people to wipe their feet. We are just a local homeo hall trying to provide what the neighborhood needs. It’s a quiet, steady life here in Keshtopur. We stay busy.
