Gupta Cafeteria

Gupta Cafeteria is over at 7/2 Diamond Harbour Road. We are quite close to the Thakurpukur Bazar, in the Netaji Pally area. The road outside is always loud with buses and rickshaws going towards the city. We have been here for a while. It’s a basic setup. We serve tea, coffee, and some simple snacks. There is a small kitchen area where we fry things and make the tea. It gets a bit smoky sometimes but we leave the door open. We don't have fancy air conditioning or velvet seats. Just some wooden benches and tables that have seen a lot of use. People come in to take a break from the heat or to wait for someone. We see the same faces every morning. Mostly workers from the bazaar or people living nearby in Thakurpukur. We don't use any complicated machines. Everything is done by hand. The cups are washed in the back. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just focus on the daily chores. The weather affects how busy we are. On rainy days, everyone wants hot tea. When it’s too hot, things slow down. We just take it as it comes. It is a humble place, and we are just regular people working hard to keep it running. Netaji Pally is a busy spot, and we are glad to be a small part of it.
