Glorious Events

Glorious Events is located at 43, Kamal Park, right near the bus stop in Birati. Kolkata is a big city, but Birati feels like its own little world sometimes. We are very close to Somobayika, which is where everyone goes for their bits and pieces, so we see a lot of foot traffic. The office is just a plain room where we keep our files and meet people. It’s not one of those high-rise corporate offices with glass walls. We have some old chairs and a desk that’s seen better days, but it serves its purpose well enough. We spend our time planning out how to get things from one place to another for local functions. It’s mostly about coordinating with people and making sure the timings are right. We aren't the type to use big marketing slogans. We just tell people what we can do and then we go do it. Some days are quieter than others, especially during the monsoon when things slow down a bit. We’ve been here at Kamal Park for a long time now. People know to come find us when they have something coming up in the family. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name on the door. It’s a modest way to run things, but it keeps us busy and we like the people we work with in the neighborhood.
