G D Dental Clinic

G D Dental Clinic is situated right on VIP Road in Baguiati, near Joramandir. If you know that area, you know how loud the traffic can be. The buses are always honking and there is a constant flow of people moving toward the market. Our clinic is tucked away from the main noise just enough. When you walk inside, it is much quieter. There is that specific smell of a dental office, a mix of mint and something medicinal. I usually spend my morning setting up the instruments. The chairs are lined up in the waiting room, and there is an old pile of magazines on the side table that nobody ever reads. Joramandir is a busy landmark, so we get a lot of people just walking in to ask about times. The light in the clinic is quite bright because the doctor needs to see what he is doing. I handle the door and the phone. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is silent for an hour. The walls are a plain off-white color. We don't have any fancy art or anything like that. It is just a functional space. I like looking out the window at the people on VIP Road when I have a break. It is a different world out there compared to the quiet of the dental chair. We just keep things running as best we can every day.
