Friends Catering Service is at 155, Shree Rampur Road in Garia. We are right opposite the Mahua Cinema Hall, which is a very easy landmark for anyone trying to find us. We have been doing this for quite a long time now. The business actually started between a group of us who were friends and liked to organize events, so the name just stuck. We handle everything from small birthday parties to larger wedding receptions. Garia is a very busy area, and our kitchen is right in the middle of all that activity. We have a lot of large cooking equipment and we are always busy with something. We don't use fancy terms for our food or try to follow all the latest trends. We just stick to the traditional dishes that we know people like to eat. Sometimes the logistics of getting the food to the venue can be a bit of a headache with the traffic near the cinema, but we have learned how to plan around it. We have a regular group of workers who help us with the serving and the heavy lifting. Most of our business comes from word of mouth in the local community. We don't have a fancy office for meetings; usually, we just sit down with people and a cup of tea to figure out what they need for their event.
