Our office is down on the ground floor of 12 D Harrington Mansions, right there at 8 Ho Chi Minh Sarani. It’s an older building with high ceilings and thick walls that keep it somewhat cool, though we still need the fans going most of the time. Working in a place like this has its quirks, like the way the heavy doors creak or how the light falls in the hallway. We handle a lot of import and export paperwork here, so there are always stacks of documents on the desks and folders that need filing. Ho Chi Minh Sarani is a busy stretch, and we see people walking past our window all day long. Sometimes a delivery truck blocks the entrance and we have to go out and help them navigate the narrow space. The ground floor location is handy for moving boxes in and out, which we do quite a bit. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s more of a working office where things are constantly moving. We have a small corner for files and a table where we take our breaks. The street noise is part of the background now, we don't even notice the cars anymore. It feels like a solid place to work, and being in an old mansion gives it a bit of character that you don't find in the newer glass buildings. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily shipments as they arrive from the port.
