Exclusif is located right across from the Chittaranjan Hospital on Dr Sundari Mohan Avenue. If you know the Entally area, you know how hectic it can get around here. There is always an ambulance siren or someone rushing somewhere. We’ve been at number 7 for a while now. Our shopfront isn't anything too flashy, but we try to keep it clean. Inside, it’s a bit quieter than the street outside. We spend a lot of our day just managing the stock and talking to the people who walk in. Some are locals from around Entally, others are just passing through because they have someone at the hospital. It’s not a huge space, but we make it work. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. Usually, the lights go on early and we don’t close until late evening when the street lamps finally flicker on. It’s an old part of the city, so the buildings have that worn-in look. We like it that way. It feels real. Sometimes we sit on the stools by the door when it’s slow, just watching the buses go by on the avenue. Being right here in the middle of everything keeps us busy enough. There is always something to fix or a shelf to rearrange at Exclusif.
