Goldwin

Goldwin is located at 237/3 Manicktala Main Road in Kankurgachi. We are right on the main stretch, which means there is a lot of foot traffic passing by our front door every day. The shop has been here for quite some time now. We don't have a big corporate setup. It is just a regular shop where we keep a variety of items for people to see. The space inside is functional, though it can get a bit dusty with all the traffic on Manicktala Main Road. We spend a lot of time cleaning and rearranging things to make them look presentable. We don't have a marketing team or any promotional slogans. If you walk in, you’ll likely find one of us sitting near the back or helping a customer with a measurement. We just tell people what we have and how much it costs. Sometimes the street gets so loud that it’s hard to have a conversation, but that’s just life in this part of Kolkata. There is a lot of competition around here, but we just focus on our own work. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name Goldwin above the door. Most of our customers are people who live nearby in the Kankurgachi area and have seen us here for years. We open up in the morning, do our work, and head home when the sun goes down. It is a simple routine.
