Electromart

Electromart has been sitting right here at Shop No. 6, 2-A on Ganesh Chandra Avenue for a long time. We are inside Commerce House, specifically on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just wander in when they are passing by. The building is one of those classic structures you find in this part of the city, and it has a lot of character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint every now and then. Inside our shop, it is a bit of a squeeze with all the boxes and display items we have crammed into the space. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it can get a little chaotic with customers asking questions and deliveries arriving at the same time. We are not a giant chain store with matching uniforms and scripted greetings. It is just a few of us who know a fair bit about electronics and try to help people find what they are looking for without a lot of hassle. Sometimes we have the radio playing in the background, and there is usually a cup of tea sitting on the counter somewhere. People like coming here because they know we are not going to give them a long sales pitch. We just tell them what we have in stock and how much it costs. It is a simple way to run a business, and it seems to suit Ganesh Chandra Avenue just fine.
