Diamond Caterer

Diamond Caterer is tucked away at 23/1/3C Guruparasad Chowdhury Lane. We’re quite close to Jhama Pukur Park, which is a nice landmark to give people when they are trying to find us. The lane is narrow, so we have to be smart about how we load our delivery vans. Inside, it’s mostly a busy kitchen environment. We’ve got large stoves and plenty of counter space for plating and packing. We’ve been doing this for a while, and the routine is pretty much the same every day. We start early to get the fresh produce from the market. Then it’s hours of peeling, cutting, and slow-cooking. We don't use any fancy machinery; most things are still done by hand because that’s how we learned. The walls are a bit stained from the steam, and the floor has seen better days, but the food is what matters. We cater for local events and parties around the area. It gets really hectic when there are multiple orders on the same day. You’ll see us running around with lists and containers, making sure nothing gets left behind. We don't have a fancy office for meetings. If someone wants to talk about a menu, they usually just come into the kitchen or we talk over the phone. It’s an honest living, and we just try to get the salt and spice right every time.
