We started Dhanwantary Ayurvedic Clinic And Research Center here in Mohisgot Krishnapur because we saw people needed a place to go for traditional herbs and treatments. It is not a fancy building or anything, just a regular space where we look at health issues through Ayurveda. We do some research here too, which mostly means we try to figure out which old methods work best for the folks who walk through our door every day. The neighborhood of Mohisgot Krishnapur is where we live and work, so we know most of the people who stop by for a chat or a checkup. Sometimes it gets busy and the waiting area fills up, but we try to see everyone as they come in. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who care about how people are feeling. Dealing with plants and oils is what we do all day. It’s a quiet kind of work but it feels right for this area. People come in with all sorts of aches or just wanting to feel a bit more balanced. We keep our notes and our jars organized as well as we can. Being in Krishnapur means we are part of the daily life here, watching the street get busy and quiet down again. It isn’t always perfect, and some days are longer than others, but we keep the lights on and the doors open for whoever needs us.
