Deys Caterer

Deys Caterer is located at 54, Sri Gopal Mullick Lane. This is one of those old, narrow lanes where everyone knows each other. We have been here for a very long time, and the business has been passed down through the family. Our workspace is on the ground floor of an old house. It is not a modern kitchen by any means, but it has everything we need to do our work. There are big brass pots and long wooden spoons that have been used for decades. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one that most people miss if they aren't looking for it. We don't do any online marketing or anything like that. Most of our customers are families who have lived in this part of the city for generations. They know us and they knew our fathers. It gets very crowded in the kitchen when we are preparing for a big wedding feast. The heat from the coal stoves and the gas burners makes it quite intense, but we are used to it. We take our time with the prep work, chopping everything by hand. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living.
