Our office is tucked away at 29A Rifle Range Road in Kolkata. It is a central location, 700019, which makes it easy for us to reach different parts of the city. Development Consultants Pvt Ltd is basically a small team of us working on various urban projects. The building we are in has some character, though it gets a bit warm in the afternoons. Dealing with city projects means there is always a lot of bureaucracy, so we spend a lot of time filling out forms and checking regulations. It is not particularly glamorous work, but it is necessary for getting things built. We have been at this for a long time, so we know the drill. We talk to people in plain English and don't try to sound like we are more important than we are. If someone needs a project looked at, we just sit down and go through the numbers.
