Design Workshop

We set up shop near Dhakudia Gol Park. It’s a nice area with a bit of greenery nearby, which helps when you’re trying to think. Design Workshop is a small place. We don't have a giant studio with those expensive chairs. It’s mostly just drafting tables, some computers, and a lot of scrap paper lying around. We spend our days drawing and figuring out how things should look. It’s a quiet kind of work, mostly. We don’t have a big sign out front, just enough for people to find the door. People stop by to talk about their projects, and we sit down and sketch things out. The light in the afternoon is pretty good in our corner. We aren't the type of place that wears suits. Most of us just wear whatever is comfortable for a long day of sitting. Dhakudia is a good spot because we can walk out and get a snack whenever we get stuck on a design. We don't follow all the latest trends just because they're new. We just try to make things that make sense for the person asking. Sometimes we disagree on a color or a layout, and we just talk it out until it’s fixed. It’s a simple process. We enjoy the work, even when the deadlines get a little tight and we have to stay late. There’s always a half-finished cup of coffee somewhere, and we probably should clean up more often, but the design work comes first.
