We are based in Behala, right at 8/1, L.N. Motilal Road. It is a busy area of Kolkata, so there is usually the sound of horns and people talking right outside our windows. Our space is not exactly huge, but we have enough room for our lifestyle projects. The building is older and has a bit of character, even if the walls are a little worn down. We have a small crew here, and most of us have worked together for a long time. We do not bother with big human resources departments or formal structures. If someone has a problem, we just talk it out over a cup of tea. Our worktables are usually covered with sketches, samples, and all sorts of bits and pieces. It might look like a mess to someone else, but we have our own way of organizing things. The commute through Behala traffic can be a struggle some days, but we always make it in. We usually have our lunch together in a small area at the back of the office. It is just a regular, everyday workplace where people put in an honest day of labor. We do not use fancy titles or act like a big corporation. We just focus on making sure the items we produce are handled with care and sent out on time. It is a simple life on Motilal Road, and we are quite content with it.
