Decorators & Caterers

You can find us over at 27, near Ganga Puri in the Purba Putiary area. We’ve been working out of this location for a good while now, handling all the stuff that goes into making an event happen. Most of our work involves moving big pieces of equipment like bamboo poles, heavy tents, and crates of dishes. It’s a lot of lifting and loading, and our storage space is usually packed to the ceiling with decorations and cooking gear. We don't really have a fancy name, just what we do—decorators and caterers. People in the neighborhood know us as the guys who show up in the morning to start setting up the lights and the seating for a party. It’s hard work, especially when the humidity is high, but it’s what we know how to do. We usually have a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. We aren't big on talking ourselves up or using big words to describe our service. We just show up, do the setup, cook the food, and then take it all down when everyone else has gone home. The area around Ganga Puri is mostly residential, so we feel like part of the community here. Most of our customers are just neighbors who have seen us working on the next street over and decided to give us a try. It’s a lot of manual labor, but it keeps us going every day.
