Debdan Fashion Inc

Our workshop is at 10/1d Swinhoe Street. It’s a narrow road but it’s a good place for Debdan Fashion Inc. We spend our days surrounded by different types of fabric and lots of thread. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It feels more like a small workshop when you walk in. We have a few sewing machines and a big wooden table where we cut out the patterns. The floor is usually covered in little bits of cloth by the time we finish for the day. We try to keep it clean, but it’s a losing battle during the busy weeks. We don't have a receptionist or anyone like that. If the phone rings, someone just stops what they're doing and answers it. Most of the time we are too busy with our work to talk much anyway. We make clothes here and it’s a lot of doing the same things over and over, but we like seeing the finished garments. The building is on the older side and the windows rattle whenever a big truck passes by on the street. We’ve been here so long that we don't even notice it anymore. We don't have a big sign outside to show people where we are. Most of our customers already know the way. We’ve built our business by just doing the work every day without any fancy advertisements. It’s a good way to live and we're happy here on Swinhoe Street.
