D K Colour Traders

D K Colour Traders is tucked away on the 1st Floor of No. 1 Govind Chand Dhar Lane. Most people around here don't use the full street name though; they just call it Biscuit Gali. It’s a narrow lane that always seems to have something going on, and the name alone usually tells people exactly where to head. Being on the first floor means we have to walk up a flight of stairs every morning, which keeps us moving. The building is old and has a lot of character, much like the rest of the lane. We like being in Biscuit Gali because it has a long history and everyone knows it. Our space inside is filled with the things we need for the day’s work. It can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of stock coming in or going out, but we make it work. The light coming through the windows isn't much, but it’s enough. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the specific rhythm of the lane. The sounds of the carts and the voices from the street level filter up to us all day long. It is a very local way of doing things, without any of the polish you find in the newer parts of the city. We are just here, doing our bit in a famous little corner of the world.
