Crepe Station Express

If you’re looking for us, we’re up on the second floor of Pane Mansion. It’s right on Ganesh Chandra Avenue, which as everyone knows, gets pretty loud and crowded during the day. We’ve been here at Crepe Station Express for a while now. It’s not a huge place, just a simple setup where we make our crepes. You have to walk up the stairs, which some people don’t like, but once you’re here, it’s a bit quieter than the street downstairs. We spend most of our time at the counter, pouring the batter and watching it cook. It’s a repetitive job, but there is something nice about getting the thinness just right every time. We see a lot of office workers coming in during their lunch breaks or just people passing through the Dharmatala area. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slow, especially when it rains hard, but mostly we stay busy. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just us, the stove, and the ingredients we get in every morning. We try to keep things organized, though in a small kitchen, that can be a bit of a challenge. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when a large group arrives all at once, but we just keep going. It’s our local spot, and we like being part of the neighborhood here. We just focus on getting the food ready and serving whoever walks through the door.
