We set up Creation Interior Designer & Vastu Consultant a few years back over here on B T Road. Our office is at 9E, right near the Corporation Building. It’s an old part of Kolkata, so traffic can be a bit of a nightmare during office hours, but we like it here. We do a mix of things, mainly helping people figure out how to set up their rooms and looking at Vastu stuff. It's not always easy because every house is different and people have a lot of opinions that don't always match the space. I spend a lot of time looking at floor plans and drawing things out on paper before we even touch a computer. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of workers. It’s just a handful of us who know how to handle wood, paint, and where the doors should go according to Vastu rules. Some days are just spent visiting sites and getting dust on our shoes. It’s messy work sometimes. We try to listen to what folks want, even if they aren't sure themselves. Most of our clients come from nearby, but we travel around a bit too. The office is usually cluttered with samples of tiles, wood, and laminates. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. If you're looking for us, look for the big building near the crossing. We’ve probably seen every kind of small apartment layout there is in this city by now. Sometimes we stay late to finish a drawing because the deadline is the next morning.
