Cookme (Spice) Pvt. Ltd. is located on Kali Krishna Tagore Street. We are on the first floor at Door No.- 38. This area is near Mala Pada and it is always crowded with people and traffic. It’s one of those old parts of the city where the streets are narrow and full of life. Our office is in an old building with high ceilings. It has a certain character that you don't find in new buildings. We’ve been here for a long time, so the smell of spices is literally soaked into the walls. You can smell cinnamon and cloves the moment you walk up the stairs. The stairs are quite steep, so you have to be careful. We don't have a modern, polished look. Our desks are old wood and we have stacks of paper everywhere. We spend our days checking the quality of the different spices that come in. It’s a lot of sensory work, looking at the colors and smelling the batches. We don't use a lot of high-tech gadgets. Most of what we do is based on experience. We have a small team of people who have been with us for years. They know exactly how things should be. We don't bother with big marketing campaigns. People know our name because they’ve seen it in their kitchens for years. It’s a very traditional environment. We just keep doing what we’ve always done.
