Chakraborty Travels & Caterer

We run a bit of a mixed business over here on Gopal Lal Tagore Road in Baranagar. We do both travels and catering, which keeps us on our toes. The address is 101/4 if you are looking for us. It might seem like an odd mix, but it happened naturally over time. One day we were booking cars for people, and the next we were asked if we could provide food too, so we just started doing both. It’s a busy spot and there is always something going on. One half of the room might be someone looking for a trip while the other half is us planning a menu for a wedding. It can get a bit chaotic, and sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing. We are just a small team trying to keep up with it all. We aren't fancy and we don't have a big marketing budget. We just rely on the fact that we've been in Baranagar for a long time and people know who we are. Some days are harder than others, especially when we have a big travel group leaving at the same time as a catering order needs to go out. But we manage. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there, just to keep things moving and make sure our customers are looked after in a simple, honest way.
