You can find us down in Burrabazar, specifically at 18 on the ground floor of Hansapukur First Lane. If you’ve ever been to Burrabazar, you know it’s a maze of narrow lanes and people rushing everywhere with heavy bags. Our little spot at Bsk Gem & Jewellery is right in the middle of all that chaos. We have been here for years, and the walls probably have some stories to tell if they could talk. It’s a ground floor shop, which means we get a lot of foot traffic and dust from the street, but it also means we are easy to find. We don't have any of those modern touchscreens or fancy computers showing off our stock. Most of what we have is kept in simple cases or tucked away safely. We spend our days dealing with various gems and jewelry pieces, often working under a single lamp at the back desk. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady work and we enjoy the people who stop by to chat. Sometimes the lane gets blocked by a handcart, and we just wait it out like everyone else. We aren't looking to become some huge chain. We are just happy being the local guys that people trust when they need something looked at. It’s a humble place, but it’s ours and we are proud of the work we do. It keeps us busy and out of trouble.
