Brojo Grill

You can find Brojo Grill right on Shyambazar Street, at number 847/1B. This part of North Kolkata has a lot of history and a very specific kind of energy that you don't find anywhere else. We have been operating our small grill shop here for a while now, and we’ve become a part of the daily life on this street. It’s a simple place, nothing too flashy or corporate. We just have our grill and a few places for people to sit or stand while they eat. The street is always busy with trams, buses, and people walking by, so there is never a dull moment. We don't spend money on big advertisements or fancy signs. Most of our customers are just people who live nearby or are passing through Shyambazar on their way home. They stop in because they smell the food or they’ve been coming here for years. We keep things very straightforward. We show up, fire up the grill, and start serving. It can get quite hot in the kitchen, especially during the summer months, but that is just part of the job. We don't have a grand mission statement or a five-year plan. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure the food is decent every single day. It’s a local business run by local people who understand the neighborhood. Shyambazar is our home, and we are happy to have our little spot on this famous street.
