British Institutes Training Centre Behala

Our place is at 274/1 D on Diamond Harbour Road, which is a very long and busy street in Behala. We are right across from the Behala Thana, so there are always police vehicles and people around that area. The training centre is a simple setup. We have a few rooms for classes and a small reception area where people ask about the courses. It is a lot of English language training and other vocational skills. The walls are painted a neutral color that has faded a bit over time. We have some wooden desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use. You can hear the trams and the buses rumbling past all day long. Sometimes the sound is so loud we have to pause for a second. We don't have any polished corporate lounge or anything like that. It’s just a place for people to sit down and study. We get a mix of students and working adults who come in after their shifts. The staff here mostly stays busy with the schedules and helping people with their books. We usually have a kettle in the back for making tea when there is a break. It feels like a normal part of the Behala neighborhood, nothing too flashy or out of place. We just open the doors in the morning and stay until the last class is finished in the evening.
