You can find our Bharati Axa office in Vivekanandapally. We are located right next to the St. Thomas English School in Maynaguri, within the Jalpaiguri district. Being next to a school means we hear the kids playing and the bells ringing all day, which keeps things lively. Our office is a straightforward place where we handle insurance matters for the people around here. It’s not a massive skyscraper or a fancy suite. It’s just a local branch where we have our desks, some chairs for people to sit while they wait, and a lot of filing cabinets. Maynaguri is a place where everyone knows everyone else, so we often see familiar faces coming in to talk about their policies or ask questions. We spend a lot of time on the phone and doing paperwork on the computer. It gets quite humid here in Jalpaiguri, so we usually have the fans going full blast during the summer months. The office isn't decorated with anything special, just the necessary charts and some calendars on the wall. We don't try to make things sound more complicated than they are. We just take the information, process the documents, and try to help out the folks who walk in from Vivekanandapally. It’s a steady kind of work that keeps us connected to the community. We open the doors in the morning, do our tasks, and close up when the sun goes down.
