We are over at the Kamalaya Centre, on the first floor. 156 A Lenin Sarani is a busy address to have, that's for sure. The traffic downstairs never really stops, and there's always someone shouting for a rickshaw. Inside our office, it’s mostly just piles of clothes and rolls of fabric sitting in the corners. Bhagwan Fashions has been around this part of town for a while now. We aren't trying to be some big high-end boutique or anything. It’s more about getting the orders filled and making sure the stitching looks okay before things go out. My desk is usually covered in scrap paper and half-empty tea cups from the morning. The light in the hallway flickers sometimes, but we just ignore it because we're too busy. There are four of us working here regularly, plus the guys who help with the heavy bags when we have a big delivery. It’s a lot of work, especially when a big shipment is due. We talk to a lot of different people every day. Some are easy to deal with, some not so much, but that's just business, I guess. We keep the windows shut to keep the city dust out, but you can still hear the horns honking all day. We stay busy from morning until evening. Usually, we eat lunch together at the big table in the back. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us moving. We just try to keep things organized so we don't lose track.
