Baba Bholanath Book Stores

We’ve been here at No. 6- A Kiron Shankar Roy Road for quite a while now. Most people know us as Baba Bholanath Book Stores. It’s just a regular place where we keep a lot of books stacked up on shelves. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. People come in looking for things to read or school books, and we try to find what they need in the piles. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. Just a shop with four walls and a lot of paper. Some days are quiet and we just sit here watching the traffic go by on Kiron Shankar Roy Road. Other days, it’s a bit more crowded with students or folks from the nearby offices stopping in. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. Just the name on the board. We spend most of our time organizing the new arrivals and making sure we haven't lost track of anything. It’s a simple way to make a living. You get used to the smell of old paper and the sound of the street. There’s always something to do, even if it’s just dusting the counters or chatting with a neighbor who stopped by. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but we’re still right here at the same spot, doing what we do every single day.
