B P Engineering & Electronics Pvt Ltd

We are located over on Monook Lane, specifically at number 3 on the second floor. Being so close to the Calcutta GPO means it stays pretty crowded outside most of the day. B P Engineering & Electronics Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this space for some time now. It’s mostly just us handling various engineering tasks and fiddling with electronic components. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical place where we keep our tools and paperwork. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes things a bit slow, but we keep at it. We get a mix of different jobs, some small and some that take up the whole week. You have to climb a couple of flights of stairs to reach us, which keeps us moving I guess. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising because the local shops around the GPO already know where we are. It is a bit cramped when we have a lot of equipment lying around, but we make it work. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so we know our way around a circuit board. It’s a straightforward operation. We show up, see what needs fixing or building, and get to it. The lane is usually full of delivery vans, so it gets a bit chaotic, but that’s just how this part of Calcutta is.
