Art Sfactor-Suniti Khastgir

Suniti Khastgir here from Art Sfactor. We’ve been at 20, Southend Park for a while now. It is a nice spot, tucked away from the main noise. Most days, it is just me and some help, working through various projects. The building is quite a bit older, but it has really good light. I usually start early before the heat gets too bad. People often miss the turn for Southend Park if they aren't looking, but we like it that way. It stays quiet here. There’s no big sign or anything. We just keep our things organized in the back room. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to chat about the garden. It is a very normal place. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big lobby. There’s a wooden table where everything gets done. Southend Park has its own rhythm, and we just follow that. Usually, the afternoons are for finishing up whatever we started in the morning. I try to keep the space clean, but with the brushes and materials, it gets messy fast. That is just how it goes here. If you come by, you’ll see the old gate and the small plants I’ve been trying to keep alive. It’s not much, but it’s our space. We handle everything right from here. No outsourcing or anything like that. Just simple work being done in a quiet corner of the city. I really like it here.
