Art Sfactor-Suvra Chakraborty

Art Sfactor is located over at 20, Southend Park. It’s a bit different from the big industrial zones, as it’s a nicer part of town. Suvra Chakraborty started this place and has been running things with a small group of helpers. We do a lot of creative work here, so the space is always filled with sketches, materials, and half-finished projects. It can look like a mess to someone walking in for the first time, but there’s a method to it. We don't really have a set routine. Some days we’re working late into the night because an idea finally clicked, and other days it’s more about cleaning up and organizing the studio. We aren't some big design firm with a fancy receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door is the one who answers it. We like it that way because it keeps things personal. Southend Park is a nice area to walk around when we need a break from staring at our work. We don't use a lot of marketing jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We just enjoy making things and seeing them come to life. Sometimes a project doesn't go as planned, and we have to start over. That’s just part of the process. We don't make any grand promises. We just put in the time and the effort to make something worth looking at. It’s a quiet, busy life here at number 20.
