Ark Architecture

You can find us at No.-27, East Point, right near D.P.S Ruby Park in the Haltu area. We have been in this spot for some time and it works out well for us. Being near the school means there is always a bit of life around the street. Ark Architecture is basically just a group of us who enjoy figuring out how to make buildings work better. Our space is pretty cluttered with samples of tiles, wood finishes, and old models we made for previous projects. It is not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time drawing and then redrawing things until they look right. People come to us when they have a piece of land and aren't sure what the best way to use it is. We talk through the options and try to keep things down to earth. There is no point in using fancy words when a simple explanation does the trick. Haltu is a busy neighborhood and we like being part of it. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of drawings spread out on the tables. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It's a steady routine of meetings, site visits, and lots of tea. We just focus on getting the buildings right for the people who are going to live in them.
