Algoss Events & Decors-Freelancer

Working as a freelancer means I spend a lot of time on the move, but my base is at 1B, Attal Behari Bose Lane. This part of Kolkata has a specific feel to it. Algoss Events & Decors-Freelancer started because I always liked putting things together for parties and family gatherings. Now it is a full-time job. The office is basically filled with boxes of fairy lights, rolls of fabric, and artificial flowers. It can get pretty messy when a big wedding is coming up. I don't have a big staff, just some reliable people I call when the work gets heavy. We spend our days talking to vendors and trying to find the right shade of marigolds or the right kind of lighting. Sometimes things go wrong, like a delivery being late or a decoration not looking quite right under the sun, and we just have to scramble to fix it. That is the nature of event work. It isn't always glamorous. There is a lot of heavy lifting and staying up until 3 AM to make sure a stage is ready. I don't really have a polished pitch. If someone wants their space to look good for an event, they find me here on Attal Behari Bose Lane. I do my best with what is available. It’s a simple life of making things look nice for a few hours before it all gets packed away again. The lane is narrow but the neighbors are friendly enough.
