Alam Leather Enterprise.

Our place is on Popsia Road at number 25-C. It’s a working space mostly. You can smell the materials as soon as you get near the door. Alam Leather Enterprise. isn't a showroom with bright lights. It's more of a workshop where we get things done. There are scraps of leather on the floor and the sound of tools is pretty much constant. We have been here for a long time. The street outside is usually busy with small trucks and rickshaws. We don't really have a front desk or anyone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and find one of us working. It gets hot in the summer because the ventilation isn't great, but we use a couple of old fans to keep the air moving. Our hands are usually stained from the dyes or the glue we use. It's hard work and it's messy. We don't spend money on fancy furniture for the office part. We'd rather just have good tools. Sometimes we stay late to finish an order if the power stays on. The neighbors are all doing similar things, so it’s a bit of a community of makers around here on Popsia Road. We just focus on the pieces in front of us. That is basically what we do every day. We aren't worried about being trendy, just about making things that last for the people who buy them.
