Akuta Spice Private Limited

Our business is located in Dum Dum, specifically at 8/1/29/A Aurobinda Sarani in the Kamalapur area. We mostly deal with spices here. If you walk into our place, the first thing you notice is the smell of ground pepper or turmeric hanging in the air. It’s quite strong and sometimes it makes you sneeze if you aren't used to it. We spend our days measuring out spices and packing them into bags. The workshop is in a residential part of North Parganas, so it’s a bit more relaxed than the city center, but we still work hard. We have some machines for grinding, and they make a lot of noise when they are running. We are a small team and everyone does a bit of everything, from cleaning the raw spices to sealing the packets. Sometimes we have issues with the packaging material or the humidity messes with the powders, so we have to be careful. It’s a very manual process. We have been in this spot for a while and the people around here know us as the spice folks. We don't have a big corporate office; we just have our workspace and our storage. It’s a dusty, fragrant job, but it’s what we do. We have a small backyard area where we sometimes dry things out if the weather is right. Dum Dum is a busy place but our street is just tucked away enough. We hope to stay here for a long time.
