Abinash Clinic

Abinash Clinic is at 18/D on the ground floor of a building on Bagbazar Street. We are located right opposite the Union Bank, so it’s pretty hard to miss us if you’re walking down that road. Bagbazar is one of those old, historic parts of Kolkata 700003, and the clinic fits right in with the surrounding buildings. It’s a ground-floor space, which is very helpful for our older patients who don't want to deal with any steps. Inside, things are kept very simple. We have a few benches for waiting and a desk where we handle the registrations. The rooms where the doctors sit are basic but they have everything needed for a consultation. Because we are on Bagbazar Street, it’s always lively outside. You can hear the trams and the vendors throughout the day. We’ve been here for quite some time, and we’ve seen generations of families from this neighborhood come through our doors. We don't have any corporate branding or expensive signage. It's just the name on the door and the work we do inside. People know us as the local clinic across from the bank. We try to keep the atmosphere calm, even when it’s busy with people. It’s a modest place, but it serves the people of Bagbazar well. We just open up the shutters every day and wait for the first person to arrive. It’s a traditional way of running a clinic and we plan to stay that way for a long time.
