Our shop is tucked away inside Jawahar Mansion. If you’ve ever walked past, you probably know the building because it’s been around for ages. The stairs are a bit narrow and they creak when you go up, but once you get inside our space, it’s filled with all sorts of audio gear. We spend most of our days surrounded by speakers, wires, and parts that most people wouldn't recognize. It can get pretty noisy when we're testing things out, but the neighbors don't seem to mind too much. We’ve got a small workbench in the back where we spend most of our time. It’s a bit cluttered with tools and half-finished projects, but we know where everything is. The light coming through the windows in the afternoon is actually quite nice, though it shows all the dust on the equipment. We keep a kettle in the corner for tea because the walk down to the street can be a bit much when we’re busy. We aren't a big operation by any means. It’s just a few of us who know our way around a sound system. People come in with all sorts of questions, and we just try to give them a straight answer based on what we’ve seen over the years. It’s quiet work mostly, unless the volume gets turned up and we have to check the bass response on a new set of speakers we just finished.
