Our office for Vishwarooppradarshak Exim Private Limited is at House Number 10 in Herle, which is near the Panchaganga Irrigation area on Male Road. Being in Kolhapur, we are surrounded by a lot of activity. Our place is pretty straightforward. We deal with the import and export side of things, which means a lot of checking on shipments and making sure the documentation is right. It’s not a fancy glass building. It’s just a regular house that we’ve turned into our workspace. The road outside can get a bit muddy during the monsoon, but we are used to it. We have some basic desks and a couple of computers that get the job done. Often, we are talking to people at the ports or coordinating with transporters. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. We like being near the irrigation area because it’s a landmark everyone knows. My cousin and I run the show, and we don’t have any fancy titles. We just do whatever needs doing that day. Sometimes that means staying late to catch someone in a different time zone. We don't have a big coffee machine; we just make some on a small stove in the back. It’s a quiet life here in Herle compared to the big cities, but the work we do connects us to a lot of different places. We just keep our heads down and handle the exim business as best as we can. It’s a busy life, but it suits us just fine.
