Takshvi Charitable Foundation

Our place is on Hasani Ashram Road in Sangli, right in the area they call Government Colony. The building is named Blossom and we are down on the ground floor in flat G1, which is part of the Prajakt section. The official land record says C.S. No.134/2 3 4/7, though we just tell people to look for the green gate. Being on the ground floor is handy because we don't have to deal with stairs and it stays a bit cooler. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but it’s a decent neighborhood. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and shelves filled with documents. We have a small kitchenette where we make coffee and tea throughout the day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. It feels like a proper local spot. Neighbors walk by and wave through the window sometimes. Sangli has a slower pace than the big cities, and our office reflects that. We just come in, do what needs doing, and head home. There’s no big sign or anything, just the name on the door. It’s a simple setup that works for us, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street and the sounds of the nearby colony.
