Swati Landage

I am Swati and I work out of my place in Mangalwar Peth, Ichalkaranji. The address is 6/658, and we are quite close to the Gandhi Putla, which most people around here know well. Ichalkaranji is a busy town, especially with all the textile work going on, but my corner in Mangalwar Peth stays manageable. I started this because I wanted to be involved in the local community and have something of my own. It’s not a grand office with glass walls or anything. It’s just a practical space where I can sit down and focus on my work. Most days involve a lot of small tasks that add up to a full day's work. I don't use any fancy systems, just a notebook and my computer to keep things straight. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside when there’s a festival or a market day, but that’s just life in this part of town. People usually know where to find me because of the landmark nearby. I try to stay humble and just do what is expected of me. There’s no need for big marketing slogans when you’re just a local person trying to provide a service. I handle the accounts, the customers, and the cleaning too. It’s all part of the job. Being near Gandhi Putla means I see a lot of people passing by, which is nice. It keeps me connected to what’s happening in Ichalkaranji every day.
