Suvarnratn Foundation

We are based out of a house in Hebbal, which is a part of the Gadhinglaj taluka. It is actually Shri Dundappa Ramgonda Patil’s place, house number 4A to be exact. If you know this area, you know it is pretty quiet and rural compared to the big cities. Suvarnratn Foundation is not some big organization with glass walls and fancy carpets. We work from where we live because that is where the people actually are. Most of the time, we are just sitting around a wooden table figuring out what needs to be done next in the village. It is a very local thing. We know everyone around here and most of them know us too. The address is easy to find if you are from around the 416501 pin code. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get around, especially when it rains heavy in the monsoon, but we manage to get things done. We are not trying to be something we are not. We just look at what is happening in Hebbal and try to chip in. It is mostly just us and a few neighbors who want to help out. No big speeches or anything like that, just regular daily work. Sometimes we meet under the big tree outside or in the front room of the house. It feels more like a community effort than a formal office job. We do not have brochures. If someone needs something, they just come to the door.
