Snehastha Social Foundation

Snehastha Social Foundation is at A M Patil CS NO 366, inside the SP Plaza. It is near JSP Tal Shirol in Hatkanangale, Kolhapur. The plaza is a busy spot with different shops and offices. We are right in the middle of it. Finding us can be a bit tricky if you do not know the plaza layout, but people usually just ask around. The office is one large room divided by some wooden partitions. It is not the quietest place because of the market outside. We have a lot of visitors from the surrounding villages and the town. They just drop in to say hello or ask questions. We keep a big water jar in the corner because it gets thirsty work. Our desks are usually covered in notebooks. We use a lot of paper here. The walls are a plain off-white and there is a clock that is always five minutes fast. No one bothers to fix it. We just know to subtract five minutes. Kolhapur has a specific rhythm, and we are part of it. We usually close up early on Saturdays. It is a simple operation. We do not have a website that we update or anything. Most of our connections are just face-to-face. We have been in Hatkanangale for quite some time now. It is a good community and we know most of the people in the building. It works for us.
