Shriraj Chemicals

Shriraj Chemicals is over at I/52, Priyadarshini, in R.K.Nagar. We are near Ichalkaranji, which is in Tal. Shirol. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main city, but it’s a decent area for what we do. The building is called Priyadarshini and we’ve been in unit I/52 for a good number of years now. It’s mostly quiet around here compared to the bigger markets. We have a few neighbors who are also in the chemical business, so we all kind of know each other. The office is a bit cluttered with samples and old ledgers, but we know where everything is. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. Usually, if someone comes to see us, we just pull up a chair and talk right there. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s on high, but it keeps the air moving during the hot afternoons. Living and working near Ichalkaranji has its own pace. Things don't move too fast, but we keep busy enough. We just focus on getting our batches ready and making sure the labels are on straight. It’s a lot of routine work, but we don't mind it. We just stay here and do our job without making much of a fuss about it, day in and day out.
