Shriman Yogee Foundation

The Shriman Yogee Foundation is located in Hatkanangle, which is a busy little part of the Kolhapur district. We are right near the Laxmi Process building in Ward 11. Our address is house number 418/1/2. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of people working in the local industries. We set this up because we saw that a lot of folks around here were struggling with everyday things. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just trying to be good neighbors. Some days we are helping with small local disputes and other days we are trying to get resources to people who have fallen on hard times. Kolhapur people are tough and hardworking, but everyone needs a bit of a hand now and then. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. We just have a door that is usually open. Being near Laxmi Process means there are always people walking by, and we like that. It keeps us connected to the reality of the streets. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just do it. It’s a bit messy sometimes and we don’t always have all the answers, but we try our best. Most of us grew up in Maharashtra and we want to see our local town thrive. If you’re ever in Ward 11, you’ll probably see us around. We’re just regular people doing regular work for our community.
