Shri Narsimha Education And Goraksha Foundation

Our group, the Shri Narsimha Education And Goraksha Foundation, is located out at Gat No. 1264/1. We are in the Rane Mala area, which is part of Shirol. It is a bit of a rural spot but that suits us just fine. We have two main things we look after here. One is the kids and their schooling. We think it’s important for children in Shirol to get a decent start in life without having to travel too far away. The other thing is the cows. Goraksha is a big part of what we do. We look after the cattle and make sure they are fed and healthy. It keeps us busy from morning until night. There is always something to do on the land. Sometimes we are fixing a fence and other times we are helping a student with their books. We don't have a big staff, just a few local people who care about the village. It’s a lot of hard work but we don't mind the dirt under our fingernails. People from Rane Mala often stop by to see the cows or ask about the educational stuff we are doing. We just try to be a helpful part of the community. We don't have a big budget or fancy equipment. We just use what we have to make things better for the animals and the families around here. It’s a simple life and we are glad to be doing this work.
