Scoop Ice Cream Parlour

Being in Tarabai Park is great, mostly because it’s a nice part of Kolhapur to walk around in. Scoop Ice Cream Parlour is in Shakuntala Chambers Shop No 3, Main Road, Tarabai Park, Kolhapur - 416003, Opposite Kiran Bunglow Tarabai Park. It’s a small place, honestly. We have some seating, but a lot of people just grab their cones and walk across the road. Kolhapur gets really hot in the summer, so that’s when we are the busiest. We don’t have a massive menu with hundreds of items. We just keep the favorites and make sure the freezers are working right. Sometimes the compressor makes a bit of noise, and we have to get the repairman out, but that’s just part of owning a shop. We aren't some big national chain with fancy uniforms. It’s just a few of us here, usually wearing whatever is comfortable for a long shift. We like seeing the kids come in after school with their change, trying to decide what they want. It makes the long hours feel a bit more worth it. We don't do much advertising; the sign on the main road usually does the job. It’s a simple business, selling something that makes people happy for a few minutes. We try to keep the floors clean and the scoops even. That’s about all there is to it. We like being right here on the main road.
