Sanmati Dental Clinic

We run Sanmati Dental Clinic out of Sanmati Niwas, which is right near the old S. T. Stand in Kurunwad. Being in the Kolhapur district, we get a lot of local folks coming in for their tooth troubles. The old bus stand is a landmark everyone around here knows, so we don't have to give directions very often. Inside the clinic, it smells like a typical dentist's office—clean and a bit like those chemicals we use. We have the big dental chair and all the tools that make those high-pitched sounds that people dislike. Some patients get a bit nervous when they walk in, so we try to keep the atmosphere as calm as possible. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We don’t have a big marketing budget or any fancy ads. People come to us because we’ve been here in Kurunwad for a long time. The building, Sanmati Niwas, is where we spend most of our daylight hours. Sometimes the water pressure acts up or we have to wait a few days for supplies to come in from the bigger cities. Dealing with cavities and cleaning teeth is what we do from morning until evening. We see kids who are scared of the chair and older people who just want to be able to eat comfortably again. It’s not a flashy place with neon lights or modern art. It’s just a solid, local dental office where we do our best to help the townspeople with their teeth.
