Parker Shirts

Parker Shirts is situated on 8th Lane which is just off Station Road. Being near a railway station means there is a constant hum of people and trains nearby. The 8th lane is a bit of a shortcut for some folks so we see a lot of foot traffic. Our shop is quite narrow but it goes back a long way. We have lined the walls with shelves to hold as many shirts as possible. Station Road is always a bit chaotic but we like being in the middle of it all. Most mornings start with us pulling up the metal gate and setting out a few displays near the entrance. We don't have a big corporate structure here. It is just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If a customer asks for a specific size we usually have to climb a small ladder to reach the top boxes. The floor is a bit uneven in places because the building is quite old. We have a small desk where we keep the ledger and the pen. It's a very traditional way of running a shop. We don't use any fancy software or anything. We just know our inventory and talk to the people who come in. Parker Shirts has been a part of this lane for some time now and we know the neighborhood well.
