We spend most of our time here at the Marathe Amenity Center on the Sangli Miraj road. It’s a busy spot because the Shidhivinayak cancer hospital is right nearby. You see all sorts of people walking by all day, mostly folks visiting the hospital or just passing through Miraj. Our place isn't anything fancy, just a regular part of the neighborhood. The traffic on the main road can get pretty loud in the afternoons, but we are used to it by now. We open up early and stay until the evening. Most days are the same, just keeping things running and talking to the regulars who stop in. It gets dusty sometimes with all the cars going towards Sangli, but that is just how it is around here. We have been in this spot for a while now and know the local shopkeepers around the amenity center pretty well. Sometimes we just sit outside for a minute when it’s quiet. It is a practical location for what we do. Not much else to say really, we just do our work and go home. People find us easily because of the hospital landmark. It’s a steady kind of life. We see the seasons change from this storefront, from the heavy rains that flood the road a bit to the dry heat of the summer months. It is just our corner of Miraj. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just show up every day.
