Our business is run by Padmanabha A. Kulkarni and we are located on Shahu Mal, along the Prayag Chikhali Road. We are in the Karveer taluka of Kolhapur district. It is a very local operation and we have been here for a long time. The road outside is busy with trucks and people going to the nearby villages. We don't have a big fancy office. It’s a simple building that serves its purpose well enough. We handle various tasks and jobs for the people in the community. Most of our customers are people we have known for years. They stop by to talk about their needs and we see what we can do to help. The office is small and usually has a few stacks of papers and some old wooden chairs for people to sit on. It gets very hot in Kolhapur during the summer, so we have a couple of fans going all day. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing who we are and where to find us. The work is steady and we stay busy most of the week. Sometimes we close up early if there isn't much to do. It’s a very traditional way of running things. We value the relationships we have with the locals. It’s a plain and honest business, just like the people who live around here.
